We are the local Parish Church seeking to serve all in our community. We are broad and inclusive with a strong musical tradition and offer a warm welcome to all who wish to share the journey of faith with us.

As a precaution against the spreading of the coronavirus (COVID19) all church services and gatherings here at St James were suspended when the area went into Tier 4 restrictions and then into lockdown (from late Dec 2020). Please refer to the latest weekly sheet for more details. The church building is open for private prayer between 10 am and 12 am on Monday and Wednesday. You can still get in touch with the clergy and pastoral support team and more information will be posted regularly on our Facebook page
Revd Steven Rothwell (priest-in-charge) and Revd Anne Strauss (curate)

Contact details are available here. Additional information about local responses, including the Food Hub hosted at St James on Saturday mornings, is available via the Queen Edith’s Community Forum.

We are part of the Church of England within the South Cambridge Deanery of the Diocese of Ely and often collaborate with St John the Evangelist, Hills Road and St Andrew’s, Cherry Hinton.
